Lisa Roselli, audiologist and owner of Thunder Hearing Services, has been practicing for 30 years! Her main motivation for opening her own practice was to be able to spend the time with people that they deserve when making such an important decision.

Lisa was born on Long Island and was always interested in Sign Language, Deaf Studies and Interpreting. She earned her BS at SUNY Geneseo and went on to Hofstra University to complete her MA. Lisa began her career in 1993, and has been practicing for over 25 years! She is a member of ASHA and a fellow of AAA. She also maintains her Certificate in Clinical Competence in Audiology and is fluent in American Sign Language. She served as a board member for the NYS Alliance. Her main motivation for opening her own practice was to be able to spend the time with people that they deserve when making such an important decision. Now, she can give the best possible care and not feel rushed. Lisa has completed Mission Work, including traveling to China and fitting over 250 children with hearing aids in 10 days! Other volunteer activities include Hearing Missions at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, in Riverhead, and at Yankee Stadium. Lisa currently lives on Long Island with her family. Her son graduated from Binghamton University with a BS in Psychology and a BA in Finance and currently works for KPMG. She LOVES animals and is a competitive Equestrian, both in Jumpers and Gymkhana/Pole Bending. “I love making a positive influence on people’s lives. There is nothing like giving the gift of hearing…..allowing a person to connect with family and friends”

Nicole earned her Doctorate of Audiology from CUNY, The Graduate Center. She chose the field of audiology because she was inspired to help patients break down communication barriers. Nicole decided to join Thunder Hearing Services to assist with our partnered assisted living facilities. She is also a member of ASHA and AAA. Nicole lives in Long Island with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys singing, volunteering with her local church and playing board games with friends.

Dr. Amanda Parks earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the Long Island Au.D. Consortium in 2018. She specializes in comprehensive audiological evaluations as well as adult hearing aid evaluations and fittings. Dr. Parks is licensed in New York as a hearing aid dispenser, allowing her to fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing aids for patients of all ages. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). 

 As a graduate student, Dr. Parks took part in two mission trips—one to Trinidad and Tobago and another to the Philippines—where she provided hearing healthcare to underserved communities.

Dr. Parks lives on Long Island with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and pets, reading, hiking, traveling, and has recently taken up figure skating.

Dr. Katelyn Stoehr earned both her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Masters of Science at Adelphi University in 2005/2007. She completed her Doctorate at University of Florida in 2011. Prior to joining Thunder Hearing Services in 2023, Dr. Stoehr worked at ENT and Allergy Associates, New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and Beth Israel Medical Center. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and a member of the American Speech, Hearing and Language Association.

Dr. Stoehr has experience in audiological evaluations for all age groups. She specializes in fitting advanced technology digital hearing aids, and electrophysiological testing.

Dr Stoehr lives on Long Island with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys reading and following the Mets and Islanders.

Jill loves work with and helping people. She has a BA in Education, a minor in Speech Pathology, and an MS in Special Education. She earned a Doctorate in Special Services for Exceptional Persons and also taught English to adult language learners. She served as a Student Advisor and Field Supervisor during her many years as a college professor.

Jill lives on Long Island with her husband. She has two adult children and three grandchildren.

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, Jennifer has worked in the hearing industry for over 15 years. She recently joined Thunder Hearing Services as a patient care coordinator. Jennifer lives in Bay Shore with her husband and two boys. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, doing yoga, and gardening.
